TIP 1: Don’t be afraid of making mistakes
I always say that it is okay to make mistakes when practicing conversation. Actually, it is crucial: errors allow us to become self-conscious about the things we have to work on. The learners that succeed in learning a language are indeed the ones that keep trying with practice, conversation, reading, writing.
Forget about the “mistakes”: you Italian audience will be more than willing to hear you out and will completely ignore what you critically think is a mistake, but rather will encourage you to keep talking. There is no such thing as perfection!
