Claudia is a fantastic tutor. In a very short space of time I went from not speaking any Italian at all, to being confident enough to have proper conversations with my Italian family. Claudia is very kind and patient, organised and structured, and I especially like the combination of different learning techniques and tools, which she tailors to my learning style and interests, as this always keeps it interesting. Highly recommend.

Claudia is an extremely knowledgeable, patient and experienced instructor - I have been able to make very rapid progress working with her on a 1-1 basis and our lessons always cover reading, speaking and writing along with grammar - but it is done in an immersive way. I would not have made such progress as quickly without Claudia's support. I should also note that I read/write/speak Arabic (Modern Standard and Moroccan) and French and studied these for many years (as second/third languages) - and have had many language instructors - so when I say that I strongly recommend Claudia as an instructor, I do so with many years of language study/instruction and can distinguish between the great and good instructors. Claudia is a great instructor!

Claudia has been teaching me for nearly 2 years. I’ve only ever met her on-line since Covid restrictions prevented face-to-face meetings. She comes across really well. We’ve been having 1 lesson for an hour each week. I have found Zoom such an effective platform for one-to-one teaching that I expect to stay with her in the virtual world. About 15 months into my lessons starting as a complete beginner, I went to a language school in Lucca for 2 weeks. I felt really well prepared for the level at which Claudia suggested I enter; I had learned enough in my months with her to enable me to communicate and have real fun on the course. Claudia is always well-prepared and gives me a variety of topics to get my teeth into. I progress at a reasonable pace although if I practised more I would no doubt be better! There is plenty of variety and our conversations are always interesting (at least to me). She has a great sense of humour which for me is a real necessity. Thanks for everything, Claudia, and I’d recommend you to anyone.

I have been learning Italian with Claudia for just over a year & I cannot recommend her enough! Her lessons are always well prepared, tailored to your own interests and consist of a mix of speaking, listening and grammar. The lessons often focus on Italian cultural themes, which are vital when learning a new language. I've made significant progress this past year which I account mostly to Claudia's enthusiastic and organised tutelage!

I started to learn Italian over 20 years ago but, not being very good at languages, never seemed to get very far, particularly with conversation. One day by chance I discovered Claudia’s site and plucked up the courage to try a few lessons. The experience has been fantastic, Claudia is a great teacher, provides interesting lessons and supporting methods, her feedback is always useful and she seemed to suffer me massacring the Italian language with exceptionally good humour! I would not hesitate to recommend her if you are looking to improve your Italian.

I have had many Italian tutors and always had a really difficult time. But Claudia has helped me so much. She is a great teacher and has a wonderful library of materials so you get to practice Italian and learn about things you are interested in. And she's super kind and patient. I highly recommend her to anyone, beginner or advanced.

Claudia is an amazing tutor who tailors every lesson to your needs as she takes into consideration what you at interested in i.e. movies, books...She is great at making the lessons interesting and fun which makes it much easier to learn! I thoroughly enjoy learning Italian with Claudia! She tailors each lesson to your individual needs, interests and each week it varies - meaning it is always engaging. The lessons are always well prepared, including a mixture of grammar, conversation and exercises centred around Italian culture, so you feel like you are really understanding the country beyond just the language. She is friendly, encouraging and makes you instantly feel comfortable, even if you are getting it wrong! I would recommend her without hesitation to anyone wishing to improve or learn Italian.

I’m a complete beginner in world of Italian and I’ve always been terrible at languages! So the thought of learning a new one was a little scary! But Claudia has been absolutely amazing, very welcoming and supportive! Adapts the lesson to suit me and my goals, exercise tailored around my interests also keep my learning experience topical and interesting. She has a very unique and individual approach to teaching and would highly recommend her to all levels or even anyone that’s just looking to learn a new language for fun!

Claudia 's qualities as a teacher serve as a perfect match for this quotation. She exudes passion for Italian and makes every lesson a joy to behold. I much recommend her as a charming, effective tutor for anyone at any age.

Claudia is a fantastic teacher - I had lessons once a week with her and I learned sooo much! I needed someone who could help me communicate effectively on a daily basis and teach me the ‘real’ language, not just what you learn in a textbook. Claudia was always extremely well prepared, lessons planned, texts printed and her own aural tracks - but at the same time, she was flexible enough to go off piste and explore other topics if they came up. I heartily recommend Claudia if you need someone to help you learn Italian in a fun and interesting way!

Claudia has been teaching me in my home for over a year She is an excellent teacher. She is always prompt, prepared, thorough and diligent. SHe adapted easily to my level of Italian. She stretches me without putting me under pressure. She creates homework for me to suit whatever i am struggling with at the moment and goes to great lengths to find out the rules for obscure pieces of grammar that I might get tied up in. She is now teaching me a lot of Italian in the way it is actually used- with more complex and informal forms than the textbook and I really like that. We talk about business, culture and lots beyond basic Italian and she covers it all. I plan to continue to employ Claudia indefinitely.

Claudia is very professional, always prepared for the lessons, keeps it very entertaining and fun with different educational techniques. She is always developing her teaching skills and comes up with new learning ideas. She has good lesson structure and a good structure in the course overall. I have noticed my progress right after starting our lessons.
